Double sided, the heavy gauge steel casing has been stripped of the unappealing paint, to bring to an industrial finish. The perspex faces are bright and clean and can be illuminated. Smiths branding and London stamped to the face. Large imposing hands running on the original electric movement.

About the maker
Smiths English Clock Systems Ltd entered the domestic clock market in 1931 with the earliest known examples marked with Synchronous Electrics Clocks Ltd. In 1937, the trade name Sectric was adopted and appeared on many clocks from this point. They produced clocks for the commercial, domestic and automobile market where they appeared in many factories, railways and public spaces throughout the UK.
