About the maker
GecoRay is a model of lighting intended for the mid-century shop display market designed by the General Electric Company (GEC). They were often made of painted glass, some with a prismatic or ribbed finish to enhance the throw of light and had copper or aluminium galleries. Often the lamp holders could be adjusted making them an incredbly versatile lamp and perfect for their intended purpose.
