Elegant metal lantern with original paint made in England. c.1890.

Dating to the late 19th Century with a beautiful patina to the original painted surface and unusual rolled green and opaline glass. Small flap to the underside where the gaslighter would have lit the lantern in the Victorian era. Professionally adapted to allow the lantern to be hung from a ceiling.

Rewired with 1m black twisted flex.
