A pair of huge industrial clocks from renowned makers Gents of Leicester. c.1930
These very impressive clocks are preserved in perfect condition. Gents‘ iconic arrow hands from the period with unusual numerals – especially the number 8 taking on a gothic-esque style. The heavy steel surround has a large flared design. Original movements now running perfectly on modern mains powered slave drivers. 2 available, price is per clock.

Gents’ of Leicester, was established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by John Thomas Gent. For over a century, the company was a well known manufacturer of electrical equipment, in particular its electric clocks, which were used in public buildings and railway stations all over the world.
