A run of very unusual runway lamps made in England by GEC – General Electric Company. c.1940
Originally designed with the purpose of lighting RAF runways, they would have been mounted into the floor with the glass facing upwards, now re-purposed into stylish pendant lamps. GEC makers mark cast into the stripped aluminium housing. Very think toughened glass dome to refract the light. 5 available, price is per light.
Some slight marks to the glass due to their age and use.
Rewired with 1m of black twist flex and minimalist suspension wire.
