Incredible large cast iron factory clock manufactured by renowned electrical company Gents of Leicester. c.1930
Almost certainly used in an industrial setting, this clock has been stripped back to its raw cast iron. The clock face has raised numeral and original iconic hands run on a new 240v mains mechanism.
Rewired with 2m of black twisted flex and BS 3-pin plug.
NOTE: all 3 fixing lugs must be used when securing to a wall.
Gents’ of Leicester, was established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by John Thomas Gent. For over a century, the company was a well known manufacturer of electrical equipment, in particular its electric clocks, which were used in public buildings and railway stations all over the world.
